About the club

West Monmouthshire is an 18-hole heathland (sometimes described as park-heath) course founded in 1906 and designed by Ben Sayers. It sits on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and is officially recognised as the highest golf club in Great Britain. The 14th tee is its highest point, at about 463m (over 1,500ft).
