About the club

Monmouthshire Golf Club is a mature parkland course at Llanfoist, Abergavenny, founded in 1892. It began as a 9-hole course, and James Braid designed the 18-hole layout that opened in 1938. The River Usk runs alongside the 6th hole, and the signature hole is the 231-yard par-3 16th, played over the corner of a pond.
