About the club
Tyddyn Mawr is a pay-and-play undulating parkland course at Llanrug near Caernarfon, with 9 holes and 18 tees, so it can be played as a full 18-hole round. It opened in 1985 and was the vision of the late Meirion Hughes. Its features include a lake and views of Snowdonia, Anglesey and the Llŷn Peninsula. FootGolf was added in 2015. Note that the club is in North Wales (Gwynedd), not South Wales, and the 59 par and 3,582 yards are for the 18-tee layout, not a standard 18-hole course.
