About the club
Baron Hill is a nine-hole heathland course on the edge of Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey. It has true, fast, sloping greens and views over the town, Snowdonia and the Great Orme. The club says its history goes back to the 1880s and that it is one of the oldest privately owned courses in the UK. Wales Golf lists an opening year of 1895 and Donald Steel as architect.
