About the club

Pwllheli is a mixed course with a tree-lined parkland front nine and a back nine that runs through sand dunes in links style. It was founded in 1900 as a nine-hole course, credited to Old Tom Morris by some sources and to Jack Morris of Hoylake by others. James Braid extended it to 18 holes in 1909, and the club celebrated its centenary in 2000. It sits on the Cardigan Bay coast with views towards Snowdonia.
