About the club
Newport Links is a coastal links course in Newport, Pembrokeshire (West Wales, not the city of Newport in South Wales). It was founded in 1925 as a nine-hole course by James Braid, and Jonathan Tucker extended it to 18 holes in 2008. It is known for its par-3 15th, played over dunes to an elevated green, and it was raised to championship status after hosting the Welsh Ladies Seniors Open in 2014.
