About the club
Mold is an 18-hole uplands/parkland course at about 850 feet above sea level at Pantymwyn, in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with wide views towards Cheshire and the Peak District. The club was founded in 1909 (after an earlier spell at Hafod Golf Links) and the course is credited to Fred Hawtree. It is short but undulating, with six par 3s and only two par 5s. It ends with the 485-yard par-4 18th, 'Long Leg'.
