About the club

Pyle & Kenfig is a championship links course in the dunes near Porthcawl, South Wales. The club was formed in 1922 by golfers from Newton Nottage Golf Club, and the layout is credited to Harry Colt and Philip Mackenzie Ross. The front nine is almost parkland in character and the back nine runs through the dunes. The club has hosted Senior Open final qualifying and has co-hosted the Men's Amateur Championship.
