About the club

Machynys Peninsula is a modern links-style championship course on the coast near Llanelli, overlooking Carmarthen Bay and the Gower Peninsula. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus, opened in 2005 and was the first Nicklaus-designed course in Wales. It hosted the Wales Ladies Championship of Europe from 2005 to 2008 and has also staged R&A championships.
