About the club
Aberdovey is a traditional out-and-back championship links in the Snowdonia National Park at the mouth of the Dovey Estuary. The club was founded in 1892 and is the birthplace of the Welsh Golfing Union. The original layout is by James Braid, with later input from Herbert Fowler and Harry Colt. It is ranked in the UK & Ireland Top 100 and is the regular host of the Welsh Seniors' Championship.
